The car has no codes that come up with the computer. When going down the road in the car and it has shift, hold the pedal at one speed the tach will move up and down. It is almost like the car is getting gas at one time and then not the next.
Can anyone give us some help?

at what speed? if it's around 30-40 mph the car may be looking for od and the tranny isn't engaging. watch your scanner and see if it's calling for a shift. you may see the solenoids switching back and forth. if so i'd start with a re-burn. if a scanner that reads this isn't available start from a stop and punch it. if there is a drop out between second and third or a long slide rebuild the transmission. william may have a better suggestion on transmissions.

Nope, I have on in here right now. 4t65e is getting overhauled at 82,000 miles. Different symptoms but they have a lot of solenoid problems. Catch them in time and you'll be fine.
Uncle PETA said I could come back.
