1999 Chev Malibu - Quad 4 With P0405?
I HAVE A 99 MALIBU WITH A 2.4 QUAD JUNK CAME IN WITH P0405 EGR SENS SIGNAL A LOW OR SHORTED. THIS CAR HAS A NON EGR MOTOR IN IT, AND NO WIRING FOR A EGR VALVE. THINKING SOMEONE CHANGED ENG. WHAT AM I OVERLOOKING?

Check the PCM and coding. Could have the wrong computer in it or the wrong software.
