Post by 92zman »

Okay, having a bad day. lol

Brought this 2002 Impala in for a coolant level sensor and a belt. I pulled the battery out to replace the sensor and now the car will not start i get U1000, U1016, U1064, P1626 and I cannot talk to the BCM. I have checked all the power and grounds at the bcm, does anyone have any ideas? btw it has a 3.8 liter eng

Impala BCM's are fragile like glass. Next time, use a battery saver device to keep everything powered up. Doubt you'd resurrect that BCM. CODB.

Glad to hear it. I'm on my third BCM this month. Causing parasitic draw.
