2000 Deville DTS - Find Cooling Hoses?

Post by Goose »

I have a 2000 DTS in the shop with the power train out and wamt to replace the cooling hoses to the alternator. Called GM parts department and the hoses #25682903 and #25687505 are discontinued. I can't believe that someone doesn't make them. Anyone have info on where I can find these hoses. Might have to make my way down to the parts store and try to match them up and find something close.

I have just sent them to the parts store and they would match them up for me. That is how i got them the last time. I will change them when i replace the alt.

That's what I ended up doing was a trip to the parts store and matched them up and came up with something that would work. You would think that Gates or Goodyear would be all over this.

Maybe no help here but i think a place called Brandywine buys up all the n.o.s from G.M. At times i contact the specific car clubs. They can find anything.............................
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

Not really. The only other dealer connection is the More catalog. http://www.moreoemparts.com ...and it interfaces with Manager, but it's not really a locator.

Just like all the other catalogs. You must be using SE for MORE to work. I haven't tried it myself, but Tim or someone could post a screenshot.
