Re: multipl codes
how long has the sel been on? it could be 1 thing causing multiple codes to appear after time. have you cleared the codes and run a trip to see which one pops up first?

Re: 2002 Dodge Caravan - 3.8L Multiple Codes
The 5 v ref code is where I would go first. That has the ability to affect those other sensors(not injector usually). Usually one sensor has shorted pulling down the 5 v ref signal. You can unplug sensors one at a time and when the 5v comes back, you've found the culprit.orthp wrote:2002 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L -

I have cleared codes still dumps gas like crazy, when it is running the 5 volts goes 11 volts to a half a volt up and down. I have unpluged the senors no differants. key on eng. off voltage is 4.95.

Re: 2002 Dodge Caravan - 3.8L Multiple Codes
welcome to the forum. first unplug #1 injector and put noid ligt on the plug. see if you're getting an interrupted signal. if solid poss pcm or broken wire. if not poss pad injector. with fel guage hooked up ee how fast pressure is lost. if it drops somewhat fast the injector failure islimited. if it zeros ut immediatly look for multiple. check injector screen and rail for debris. with todays new fuel mixes i'm starting to see differant issues. if there is debris you may want to do a cylinder by cylinder injector shut down. the easiest way to read is by rpm if one or more drop off is noticbley less than others you may have weak injectors. welcome to the forum.............................

I found the fuel injector wire harness that loops over the back exhaust manifold had meltided togather.
Also the map sensor had shorted out and all is running good now, thanks for everybody's input
