2004 Chrysler Pacifica - Cuts Off

the car will shut off when the customer puts it in gear.It does not happen all the time, its fine for two weeks at a time when i get the car everything is working fine all readings on my scanner are fine.

going way way out there is there a possibility the customer is using the remote starter and not keying it up. we all know that when you step on the brake it will kill the car if it hasn't been keyed up after a remote start. other than that i'de take a close look at the ignition switch.
