2010 Ford Fusion 4 Cyl. FWD - Rubbing/Grinding Noise?

I'm gonna try to keep this short and to the point.
After vehicle is warmed up (10 to 20 minutes of driving), there is a rubbing/grinding noise (one tech says it's a rubbing noise, another says it's a grinding noise) similar to the sound of a tire rubbing against fender liner or a backing plate hitting. This happens when turning left and/or accelerating, again only after the car has been warmed up. There's no signs of a tire hitting anything, no visible axle issues, no brake issues (no backing plate rubbing), no wheel bearing issues.
Thoughts?
We're stumped.
