POLL: How Many Hybrid Vehicles Do You See?

Post by timbre4 »

We have just launched a new polling feature on the M1 blogs: http://www.mitchell1.com/shopconnection ... your-shop/ The first poll is about how many hybrids they see in their shop in an average month.

Please cruise by at the link above and let us know!

Some months we see zero while others we see 10 - 15. The services range from normal maintenance such as oil changes, coolant systems, and brakes to generator issues abs issues (can be real nutty) head gaskets etc. The whole issue with us was we were extremely apprehensive at the beginning. Now it's basically part of everyday shop operation. I ill however add that before we do anything we look carefully at all the warnings in Mitchell Repair and All Data because some systems test cycle while vehicle is parked. You don't want to have your hand on a brake caliper when the on board diagnostic system calls for a brake check. Leaving vehicle in neutral usually prevents this from happening or a good scan tool can shut that system down until your done.

P.S. I tried to vote but poll had expired................................
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
