What Operating System Are You Using?

Post by Silky7 »

We're interested is seeing what the predominant operating systems are in use. If you don't know offhand, please check your host/server and update your response if possible.

Thanks to all that contribute!

Host Computer is also Windows 7

We are having another computer rebuilt (friend doing it for nothing) otherwise I would buy one. I think he's putting windows 8.1 onto it.

Have any issues going between Windows 7 as the host and others that have 8.1?

No all is good on my end. The surface used to work but Mitchell must have changed something with the update as of now tech supports says its not compatable.

I went from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 on my host without issue. I now have a mix of both on my network and everything is fine.

Do you know if you'll be supporting Windows 10 in the near future?

We have already completed some preliminary testing with Windows 10 and it looks really good. According to what I heard yesterday, there are no deal breakers and only a few cosmetic concerns at this time.

Any news on Windows 10? I keep getting a "thingy" asking me to upgrade.

Preliminary results for Manager SE are very good; however I wouldn't do it just yet as there are likely other programs you're using that may not be ready.
