Just curious; quick survey to confirm how most users switch between Estimates, Repair Orders and Invoices on the Order screen...

i use option a. as a rule we have 20-30 vehicles in work in progress. any vehicle that is scheduled for repair and needs parts ordered for it, other than stocked dealer or parts store items. i have the customer pre-pay. i'm seeing more and more items that have to be special ordered.

I use option A. It just seems easier to me to locate what I am looking for. Plus it is how I have been doing it for 13 years. Hard to teach an old dog new tricks!

Mostly option A. I do use option B when the vehicle is received because when I schedule an appointment I am starting an estimate to load the hours into the scheduler. Once it is converted to an RO or INV I use the WIP.

I dont see any boxes. But then I will see things that are not there

someone please tell me that the little circle to cast my vote in wasn't there before..................... just kidding. i knew it wasn't there. the security video shows me swearing at the screen trying to click on the question. this is a perfect example of not being afraid to ask a question. i just wish it was asked earlier. i didn't want to play the idiot and ask first.

Tim, I could and did vote from my house (Mozilla Firefox, and XP Home), but still can't see it at the shop (Mozilla Firefox, and EX Pro, if that matters).

Thanks for the vote; logging out and back in might help if simple refresh (F5) doesn't make it appear at the shop.

John It porobably is. I saw it until I voted now its gone!

Ya same here. Tim made it so guys like me don't stack the vote by voting over and over. I like that, now I dont have to worry about double voting.
