Post by a&mauto »

I am looking for either an idle solenoid or a rebuilt carb for this car. Anyone have any connections?
Thank You,
Adam

my J.O. import supplier wants the oe number off yours. it is too hard for him to look it up. He acted like there were 30 different idle solenoids on this beast. Only for my whale watching buddy would I ever put up with his crap.

Hey Whale Watching Buddy, unfortunately I dont have the car here anymore. There are only 2 solenoids, a right & left, and they are identical twins. If you were looking at a motorcraft 4bbl they are sticking out from where the mixture screws would be.

be real careful here adam, you don't know whom your screwing with. if you get a phone call from an irate customer bustin em wait it out a bit. if they start giggling it's tina. she's had me on the ropes a few times until she giggled....she's broken bad moods before as well. i thank her for that..........
