2003 BMW 325xi - AWD Starter Job

Post by ricmorin »

Has anyone replaced a starter on one of these? Book time says 4 hours. I can't even see the starter, let alone test it. Manual says exhaust, driveshafts and crossmember come out to lower trans to gain access. Doesn't sound fun to me. Any insight would be appreciated.

Well, it will probably be ME dancing. That's not a pretty sight. My cameras are always streaming, so feel free to watch. (I've been caught dancing before)
