Mitchell lists Diamond SP II fluid. What fluid can I use in place of this? We are not flushing the transmission.

Re: 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0L non turbo trans fluid
I used Mag 1 multi vehicle atf on the one that I had recently. It is supposed to meet all specs for that, the customer didn't want to spend the money for the original fluid on a 22 year old car.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I use a shell product that meets that spec. I use a valvoline syn product that does also. YOu can also use reg atf and a lubeguard additive I think.

Yes, LubeGard 61910 states they meet Diamond SP spec. I've used it for that application before.
