2002 Dodge RAM 1500 - Code P1491
IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME ANYTHING FOR THIS CODE. THE TRUCK HAS A FAN CLUTCH BUT THE COMPUTER KEEPS GIVING ME THIS CODE P1491 RADIATOR FAN RELAY OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT. TRYED TO CLEAR THE CODE BUT IT COMES RIGHT BACK ON. THANK YOU

P1491 is for the condensor fan. Check the fuse, probably blown. If thats the case, get motor assembly from the deaker. Last one I got had the shroud and pigtail. HTH Jerry

Fan assembly has been updated from chrysler I believe

does this one have the fan relay that needs to be updated, relocated along with a new plug?
