Grid line colors
Seen in another post about the yellow grid and line colors do not apply for every screen. Also, for what ever reason, every time I shut down the system, and restart the next day, I have to reset the yellow and any grid line color I hade changed the day before. It is not saving my changes??? Any suggestions?

Re: Grid line colors
Typically when user settings do not save it's due to the use of 'Default User' on the workstation. Is this the case?

Re: Grid line colors
Exactly what I was going to say, this happened to me after an update, I am running 5.9, but may be the same. Go to view at the top, select user list, make sure your name is selected as user, or create one if it is not there. You can then verify this if you look at the bottom right of the WIP screen, it should have you user name there. If it does, it should be saving your selections for line colors.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

OK, it says default user in the bottom right corner. When I click on the user tab on top, it is blank. I can not figure where to create a user. OK I am stupid, but I tried clicking on everything and am not sure where to add or create a user. Checked the help guide, but no help.

You go to "Configuration" > Program Security > then you can add users. Everyone can customize how they want things set up for themselves.

No problem. SE version changed how Users are setup. It's a learning curve. Glad to help out.Dan at ACCESS wrote:Problem fixed. Thanks for all the help, you guys are great.

I will see that the 'create user' process is added to the Help file since it differs from 5.9.
There are two Manager SE videos (Training Videos SE menu link) that show how to create a user:
WIP screen overview: http://managerhelp.buymitchell1.net/vid ... /SE03.html
Create a User: http://m1faqs.com/knowledgemanager/ques ... tionid=182
