NAPA PROLINK - Canada

Post by auto check »

Just trying to set up the prolink for my 6.4 version.
I have several catalog irregularities and hope that going to prolink will be better.
However, when I have the screen and clink CANADA, the next drop down menu only shows american cities.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Ron

It is my understanding from support that this version of ProLink catalog interface is for US only.

Product management November 2012: "Napa Canada and Mitchell are working on a solution for our northern friends. Stay tuned."

I do not have any date information at this time.

Thanks for the reply..
I have been experiencing many catalog problems. Parts that are not showing up for example, rotors for an 07 2WD Ford PU, show only slip on, but the ones with the hub don't show up. No pictures either.
We quoted on the job and we know what kind of problems THAT creates.
I am hopeful that this is resolved soon.

Bear in mind that the catalog and it's accuracy are beyond the scope of Mitchell and soley the responsibilty of NAPA. Mitchell merely provides the interface.

That's up to NAPA Canada as we're waiting on them. It's reported that they are close to wrapping it up.

"The NAPA Canadians engaged an outside developer to modify the existing US ProLink catalog to come up with a Canada specific version. Haven’t heard anything from them in about 2 months."

Hi
Yes. I did talk to him.
He is using the old NAPA system. Not the new prolink setup.
In PROLINK vendor setup, when you pick Country- Canada, you only get to choose American cities...

An inquiry was made last week, the developer is still working with Napa in Canada, unfortunately there is nothing more to report at this time, except I am keeping on top of it.
