How are you 'turning off the tax' for that order?

Re: Tax On Shop Supplies?
I Click Options, Then Tax, Then Tax Rates Applied, Then Uncheck Box. Now I Have Two Taxes Generally Applied, When Tax Exempt It Is Only One Tax So I Uncheck Only One Box.
Hope That Clears It Up

That won;t help unfortunately, perhaps you can capture a picture of the screen and send it to. I need to configure my system exactly as yours to help answer the question.

Re: Tax On Shop Supplies?
To get the $2.94 in GST only, go into the Order Options > Tax Rates applied and uncheck the PST.
edit: This is assuming the tax rate box you posted is from the line item itself.

Re: Tax On Shop Supplies?
I noticed the tax screen you captured from an individual LABOR line, not a part line. To turn the tax off for the order, go to options, select "Tax Rates Applied' and set the order as non taxable.

Re: Tax On Shop Supplies?
If I Select As Non Taxable Then It Does Not Enter The Gst On The Rest Of The order. I Did Go To Options The Tax Rates Applied And Un-Checked The Pst Tax. It Did Remove The Tax From The Order Except The Shop Supplies. Thanks

Is this box checked? Global decision; are you never supposed to charge tax on Shop Supplies?

Everybody In Manitoba Charges Taxes On Shop Supplies. By Doing That The Government Always Shop Supplies To Purchased Tax Exempt. I Have Always Taken Tax Off The Same Way. It's Only The Last couple Of Updates Where The Tax Has been Applied When Tax Box Is Un-Checked.

Re: Tax On Shop Supplies?
My mistake, I thought you wanted the GST to still apply on Shop Supplies as well. In order to have them not be taxed, go into the Order Options, uncheck the apply box for both taxes. Answer Yes to updating the lines on the order. Then edit the labor line and apply the GST again. The total tax in your example should just be the $2.75 of GST on the labor.
This is all based on if you'd rather leave the taxable box of the Shop/Hazmat setup checked always.
