Folks, I need your input on widening the forum membership.
Specifically, were you to describe this forum to someone who had never seen one, what would you be sure to say?
Thanks

MItchell Management Forum: A meeting place where you can interact with other users like yourself. A meeting place where you can discuss software issues as easily as you can discuss what you had for supper last night. A place where you fit right in, whether you're a novice or an expert. A place where you can get answers to your questions and tips on how to use Manager to it's fullest. It's fun and it serious. It's comfortable and knowledgeable. A place that helps you stay ahead of the competition. One of the best tools in your toolbox.

Very nice, thank you.
I'm convinced that one of the main factors impeding forum growth is that many shops just can't fathom what it is.
I'll figure out some ways to transmit these messages to the uninitiated!

Re: Capsule Description Of Forum
I love the forum because.......
it is a friendly, professional place.
I don't feel stupid asking a question.
i get quick tips and how to's from other users.
ask for a way to do something, and 10 people will chime in with step-by-step instructions on how they accomplish that task.
the active posters have been there and done that already. they are more than happy to tell you why they do it that way. but most important, why not to do that.
I found we all have a gremlin in our shop.
The members have become part of my extended family.

A temperature and pressure relief valve on a water heater. Sometimes I'm the hot water and sometimes I'm the house that was saved from the explosion. A great place to gather information from other like minded shops about daily operations.
