When i look up the code it tell me to check timming chains and if they are out check out the wheel on the crankshaft to see if it has moved. But i would like to think then there would be a sensor in there somewhere. This truck has 76000 on it. Just dont think then that is enough to need chains.

I'm thinking bad tensioner or guide. May have been caused by improper oil or low oil level.
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

If this has low mileage i'm thinking it was run out of oil. If i tear it apart and find a guide stripped of the plastic or another failed part it's one story. If i tear it down and everything is ground down (lack of oil) the oil pan is dropped to remove crapolla and i make a note of probable cause and future issues to cover myself. If when pan is dropped and i see a blued rod cap i call customer and show them and suggest an R&R. If declined a disclaimer will need to be signed.
