2002 Ford F250 - 7.3L M/T No Shift
MANUAL TRANSMISSION WILL NOT SHIFT GEARS UNLESS ENGINE IS NOT RUNNING. WILL SHIFT INTO ANY GEAR AS LONG AS ENGINE IS OFF. IT PULLS IN ANY GEAR JUST WILL NOT SHIFT. IDEAS ON WHERE TO START.

Hydraulic system pushing clutch all the way? Ford trucks are bad about firewall cracking where the clutch master cylinder bolts not allowing the clutch to press all the way. Can't remember if they did that on this year truck though.

Sounds like clutch trashed out. Be careful pricing out the job. The flywheel is probably junk and big big big money. Once i installed the cheap replacement flywheel and took it right out. The OEM is a dual mass flywheel and it absorbs the initial torque of the dsl keeping the truck from lurching.
