How Do I Apply a Credit?
Ok, so I sold a set of tires several weeks ago. Now, the customer is not satisfied and wants a different set which cost more than the first set. I want to invoice the tires but apply the credit for the first set he purchased. How do I do that?

Re: How Do I Apply a Credit?
How we would do it.
New tires, enter part number and pricing like normal. To credit the "old" tires, we would do the same but make the Quantity a "-", and be sure to enter the pricing that was charged when originally sold.
Some one MUCH smarter will be along soon, I am sure, to tell you the correct way.

WE do the same as Rich as well
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

That works guys! Thank you very much. It just was kind of a new thing to issue a credit and I just couldn't figure it out so I decided, rather than waste more time, let's see who on the forum has a good idea.
