I am having one hell of a time trying to get this vehicle to start. All grounds are good. Coil is getting 13.2v and the CKP and CYP sensors are getting (plug going to dist.) 7.15v. Also, coil primary tests out at .53kOhms and the CKP tests out at 255kOhms and the CYP sensor tests out at 490ohm. Oil pressure sensor has a good connection. No blown fuses or bad relay's. Injectors are working. New plugs, cap and rotor.
The only thing that has changed aside from the obvious gaskets is the ECT sensor. The old one was dry rotted and the connector broke off, so the sensor was replaced.
The only thing that I can think is that maybe the ECT Sensor is giving a false reading telling the ECM that the vehicle is too hot. Resistance of the ECT sensor is 1.58kOhms
does anybody have any ideas?
If you do you can feel free to give me a call as I won't be able to get back online til tomorrow evening
The number is (843)754-0858 and my name is Daniel
THANKS A TON GUYS!!!

Re: 1994 Toyota Camry - No Start After Head Gasket Job?
Well, I figured it out.
Somehow during the break of the timing belt, the distributor went. Never seen it happen before. The sensors and coil ohmed out fine and there was no damage to the distributor or connectors (visible). I installed a new distributor and it fired over before the first revolution. I set base timing and went on with my day. Collected $1200 and went past go!
Thanks anyways guys!

Just for my own info: What was it that went wrong with the distributor? Were you able to tell?
