tnx Steve, seeing some mentions in the BMW forums. All say pumps control failure. One or two mentioned Module replacement. Not sure which way to jump on this one.

Sound like it's time for eini mini meani moe, In all reality it's a situation of which came first the chicken or the egg. A failed module could possibly point to a failed pump and a failed pump can point to a failed module. Not on these vehicles but i've run across other where a failed pump cause the module to overheat and fail. Is the pump and module in the same unit? Some can be serviced separately while others are replaced as one. I've had a few when they were purchased from a reputable salvage yard came as one.

Have done three so far the pump burns the module. All were replaced with used ones that have stayed away. Car-Parts.com they got them all over the country!
If they don't know how can they fix it!
