Catalog installs

Post by rhillig »

There might be a reason it is done the way it is, but why can't the catalog installs go to all the workstations without having to install on each individual workstation?

One of the catalogs we have their rep has to install. Since I have a new computer I will have to call him to run the install again. It would be nice if it was on the main computer it would just go to all of them.

Nearly all of the SE catalogs can be switched on in Special Maintenance. WorldPAC (SpeedDIAL) is a download and CQ is WebLink II.

Which one are you thinking needs to be installed?

It is for our supplier Pioneer Rim & Wheel. They use the ACLink one.

Okay, that requires an install of ALink. I was thinking you might have had ALink for the old Carquest catalog.

The licensing scheme for this one (serial number per PC) makes it a sticky proposition. I suspect they may change it out in the future.
