Questions after the Upgrade 6.4.608

Post by ARS »

In manager system- estimator & Pro demand
1. When you go to the estimator- are there pictures of OEM parts available- in 6.4.521 we were able to see pictures.

2. From the task bar in a revision work order, is there supposed to be a way to get to repair info. like there was in 6.4.521- (button next to estimator button)

3. If in a revision estimate, if you pick a TSB, how do you print a copy of it for the customer?

Thanks, ARS

The interface changed from OD5.com to ProDemand and repair access is by the Repair Information button above now, whether it is Order or Revision screen.

The TSB line item in Manager has always been for internal purposes; it would have to be printed from ProDemand.

Part graphics not available in the interface window at this time. (obviously) I believe as we get more part graphics into native ProDemand, then we will see this.

I just updated and when I click on repair it opens ShopKeyPro like I understand it should but I always have to click login before I can start. I have my username and password saved so I don't have to enter those but it seems like a pain to click login every time I need repair info. Is this how its supposed to be?

Since update our logo no longer prints. Do we have to go through the process of adding the logo again?

Not sure why but had to add the logo again. The ShopLogo.jpg file was just blank after update. Removed it and added a good one and now it works.

Yes, the Repair Information is to be used for repair info.

The logo file should not have been affected.

The ability to view part graphics has been implemented for the 6.4.607+ versions. It's more subtle, but you'll notice if you mouse over the blue part numbers, those have a link to view the image.

When clicking repair info should I have to login every time? I have username and password saved and don't have to enter it but having to wait to login every time is a pain. Is this normal?

Currently, yes, you do have to login using Repair from the Manager system. Please bear in mind this was the introductory implementation of ProDemand to our Manager SE software, and we are certainly examining ways to improve the process. The login process is definitely among those things we're looking at.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post.

This is about ProDemand specifically; a number of printing and graphics enhancements are coming soon. All eyes are on prepping for AAPEX show next week and then we can get back to the task at hand.
